One bridge too far for Pirates

Sousse- Tunisian champions, Etoïle du Sahel, tasted victory after a  1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in the second leg of the Confederations Cup Final for 2015 at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday. Reports Piet Lategan.

In a game that Pirates dominated to a large extent it  was the Tunisians who came away with the spoils as they were more efficient in converting their opportunities they had on goal.

Pirates created numerous opportunities early in the game and Sahel opened the scoring against the run of play after a mistake by defender from Pirates, Happy Jele, allowed Ammar Jemal to finish easily for Sahel.

It gave Sahel a 2-1 aggregate victory after they drew the first leg 1-1 at the Orlando Stadium last weekend as they scored the crucial away goal, also by Jemal.
