After Western Province won the Craven Week in 2015 at Stellenbosch it came as no surprise that three Cape Schools also occupy the first, second and third spots on the Final Rankings for Schools Rugby in 2015 in South Africa.

The unbeaten team of Paarl Boys High finished top of the pile after a superb season that culminated in a 16-10 victory over Paarl Gymnasium in their interschools clash.

Paarl Gymnasium finished second after a delightful victory over Paul Roos in May and a very consistent season. They however came unstuck against Paarl ‘ Boys in their 100th interschools clash.

Paul Roos Gymnasium rounded off the triple delight for Western Province after finishing third on the Rankings after a victory of 19-12 over Grey College during interschools last Saturday. With Paul Roos celebrating their 150th birthday in 2015 they can indeed feel proud of their season that also included the winning of the Sanix World Rugby Youth Invitational Tournament in Fukuoka, Japan to add a bit of swagger.

The towns of Paarl and Stellenbosch are well represented with their boys being the cream of the crop of Schools Rugby in South Africa in 2015.
